Ubisoft Shows Assassins Creed Unity Game Play Footage

The recently released Assassins Creed Unity footage shows that the game play really does leave it to the player to choose how to take on missions.

The 11 minute footage shows some how the black box missions can be approached in any way the player chooses meaning there are several ways in which objectives can be tackled and the Creative Director has said that the idea was to give an objective and that is it leaving the player to choose how to do the mission.

The footage shows the game set in Notre Dame and showcases the new and improved free running style. The visuals as always look stunning but and there are also improved player options for combat, stealth, distractions etc.

There is an underground world connected to buildings too so the world is going to be huge, intricate and fully fleshed out. The Creative Director is quoted as saying that creating Paris has been one of their biggest undertakings in an Assassins Creed game being the “densest and most immersive city done to date”.

Assassin Creed Unity is set for release on October 28th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Ubisoft are also releasing Assassins Rogue on the XBox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 2011.
